As you will know, our very own BonusBanter member Gerry @TheGatherer Kane was in Marbella for the GSOP Poker main event. With some great play Gerry made it to the final table for a brilliant 7th place finish and a nice cash.

As a thank you to bonusbanter members for railing him during our live updates and sending him luck, he has donated €500 CASH of his winnings, to go towards sending another player to a main event in which he also hopes to play later in the year.




So, This year we will be sending one lucky BonusBanter member to a live UK Main Event to play some of the best players in Europe.

We are currently working on choosing a large event and will update once we have full details.

The Package will include one paid entry to the main event PLUS expenses for travelling and/or hotel for your stay.

Hey everyone, What a horrible weekend I got kicked out the cells this morning. Basically what happened was I went for a few pints with a friend on Friday night and then some one glassed him. Things got messy and i think 4 in total spent the weekend there. That is the first night/nights I have spent in a cell, just happened to be a Friday, I didn't even get charged!!!!! Maybe I can play another Live or make it up playing sundry mill and any other tournies to make up the balance. It was the worst weekend I ever spent instead of being one of the best.

I am so sorry to let Gerry, Billy and the rest of you down.

Now that's a bad beat story lol There is a 25/25 series in Glasgow and Dundee, could check dates and you could go in for one of them mate ? I'll have a look at the poker calendar and see whats coming up.

Sorry if this sounds harsh, but I cannot agree with playing online tourneys to 'make it up'. The whole point to the package was to have a 'live poker experience'. Infact, the reason I didn't enter was because I couldn't actually play in the event proposed. If it was to just win some Money to play bigger games online, of course I would have taken part. But I also doubt that was the idea behind Gerry donating the Money in the first place.

Really horrible thing to happen to your friend, and hope he is ok. But I do think the Money should be used to participate in a live event, and not online games. Just my opinion.

Yes mate, this sounds perfect, and I agree Negreanu.

My friend has had 15 stitches in his face and apparently nearly lost an eye. He is getting much better now tho, and hoping the scaring is not too bad.
